This group was initiated by Grace Whiteman, the wife of Canon Whiteman in 1987. It was an amalgamatic of The Young Wives Group a previous group of The Mothers’ Union.
The Trinity Ladies meets once a month on the first Wednesday at 2.00pm in the Mechanics Institute, and begins with a short set service of prayers, two hymns and a bible reading. This is followed by any notices than need to be announced and them we have a visiting speaker. The meeting concludes with tea and biscuits.
We usually visit a local restaurant for lunch during May, and in November we have an outing and a meal. December hosts our Christmas Luncheon. On each of these occasions we are usually accompanied by friends.
Visitors are always welcome to our meetings.
